What I do
After more than 20 years in digital design, with six of those in product design, I’ve spent the last five years increasingly focused on accessibility and usability across both web and native mobile apps. This interest, combined with my lived experience has grown into a clear direction: I'm now moving fully into work as a digital accessibility specialist.
I’ve recently taken time to deepen my expertise through formal study, and I now have a strong working knowledge of WCAG and how to apply it in practical, product-focused ways. I'm particularly interested in helping product teams embed accessibility into their processes from the ground up.
Find out how I can support each of these roles:

Designers
With two decades in digital design, I speak your language and understand your workflows. I can support your team to:
- Embed accessible practices into UX research, design systems, and prototyping
- Spot when design choices may affect inclusion and explore thoughtful alternatives
- Annotate and hand off designs with accessibility details that carry through to development
- Contribute to usability testing by including users with access needs and analysing inclusive outcomes

Developers
I’ve always worked closely with developers and can hand-code in HTML and CSS. I understand how accessibility is affected by front-end architectures, design systems, and native mobile platforms (iOS and Android). I can help you:
- Remediate accessibility issues in both mobile and web apps—and prevent regressions
- Test components and flows using quick checks, tools, and assistive tech
- Understand how WCAG applies to real-world code without slowing you down
- Bridge the gap between design intent and implementation for better results

Product Managers
With experience managing roadmaps and workflows myself, I understand the need to balance accessibility with other business and delivery goals. I can help you:
- Prioritise accessibility work based on impact, risk, and effort
- Plan remediation into your sprints without creating bottlenecks
- Shift accessibility “left” into early-stage discovery, scoping, and estimation
- Include accessibility in your Definition of Done and team rituals

QA Testers
I have a strong background in manual and exploratory testing, and I can help QA teams:
- Understand which accessibility testing methods are most useful at different stages
- Use tools and assistive technologies to uncover real-world issues
- Integrate accessibility checks into existing test cases and regression workflows

Content Creators
I support content teams in making digital content more accessible by helping them:
- Write effective, meaningful alt text—and understand when it’s appropriate
- Meet accessibility requirements for video, audio, and multimedia content
- Structure content clearly with semantic headings and plain language

Leadership
Accessibility is about more than compliance—it's about building better products for more people. I can work with leadership teams to:
- Understand the strategic and reputational value of accessible design
- Track accessibility progress across teams or product areas
- Support organisation-wide change through training, tooling, and process improvements
